FrameNudge Privacy Policy

Prepared October 20, 2026 · Publisher: Guangshun Wang · Contact: devxiu6@gmail.com

1. Summary

FrameNudge is an offline composition-guidance camera. Version 1.0 has no account, advertising, tracking, third-party analytics SDK or developer-operated cloud service. Camera images, captured photos and face positions are not uploaded to us. This policy describes both local processing and information you voluntarily send to support.

2. On-device camera and sensor processing

With camera permission, the app uses live frames to capture photos and detect temporary face rectangles for composition. It does not identify people, create face recognition templates or retain face-detection history. Device motion helps provide level and overhead guides. This analysis stays on the device. The app does not request location, microphone, contacts or full photo-library read access.

3. Local photos and settings

Captured photos and a recovery record are first stored in the app's private container. With add-only Photos permission, the app adds photos to your system library. If saving fails or the result is uncertain, the local copy is retained until you resolve or delete it. The app limits unresolved captures to three. Do not uninstall the app before exporting unresolved photos.

Confirmed saved-photo caches are pruned on launch and after saving, with limits of 20 photos, 200 MB and 24 hours. Pruning removes only the app's local copy, not the copy in Photos. The photo directory is excluded from device backups; settings may follow your Apple backup configuration. You can delete local copies and clear saved caches in the app. Uninstalling removes the app container, while offloading may preserve it. System Photos and iCloud Photos are controlled separately by you and Apple.

4. Support, websites and Apple

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to provide assistance. Please do not send sensitive photos or unnecessary personal information. Support communications are retained only as needed for assistance and applicable legal obligations.

Apple distributes the app, manages purchases and refunds, and may supply aggregate store reports or crash diagnostics according to its policies and your settings. We do not add a telemetry SDK. External legal pages are static and use no advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting and email providers may process request details, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver their services.

5. Sharing, legal bases and international processing

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information you send to support may be handled by our email provider or disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Support and hosting services may process information internationally. Where applicable, support processing relies on your request for assistance, legitimate interests in maintaining the product, or legal obligations. Camera permission is a device control, not a waiver of privacy rights.

6. Your choices and rights

You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings, export or delete local photos, and contact us about personal information we hold. We cannot remotely access or erase photos stored only on your device. Depending on your jurisdiction, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection and complaints to a data protection authority. Contact devxiu6@gmail.com; we may request reasonable verification. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable rights.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and is not offered in the App Store Kids Category. We do not intentionally collect children's personal information through camera use. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child sent to support.

8. Security and changes

Local data relies on iOS sandbox and device-protection controls. No storage system is completely secure. Protect and update your device, and export important photos. Material data-practice changes will be reflected in this policy and store disclosures before release. Contact Guangshun Wang at devxiu6@gmail.com; a mailing address can be requested by email.
